The Syrian Crisis Explained

Since the start of the Syrian crisis back in March 2011, the nation has since descended into chaos with an estimated 350,000+ deaths (mostly civilian), and over 5 Million Syrian refugees, the UN has labelled it the worst refugee crisis in since World War II. This is clearly evident in Europe as we see an influx of over 400,000 refugees entering the continent and counting, thus instigating issues such as the rise of far-right nationalists which are prevalent in their membership as seen by the rising Pegida and other racist movements in Europe.
