In 2014, ISIS took the world hostage. One of the fundamental realms we need to investigate is the History behind ISIS; as the influential author George Orwell states “he who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past”. This means that in order to defeat ISIS, we need to conduct an accurate historical account of the group by identifying the [root] causes.
